I did however, run with the statement as a personal reminder of who we are. As described above, the diversity around us and for that matter the brokenness of humanity, if viewed from another perspective than self, is one heck of a photo. [In days ahead, you will learn that I am known as a photo-bug.]

We often see photos from space looking back to Earth, seeing the continents, the oceans, and all of the color; and it wows us. Imagine for a second if you can look from a far and see the picture of humanity.
Live for a moment, outside the self-perspective. Think for a second about the creativity that went into each and every one of us. This perspective is not new to us. It is not to say we do not care. It is that we not think about it; we do not live it daily.
And this is where my journey begins. The adventure awaits me to live outside self-perceptivity. It is where I leave the life that is all about self and begin one of service; sacrifice and love for others. While this blog will become a story of one person, it will hopefully show that a single piece bounded together in this fractured world can in fact be what the creator envisioned.
